COOK-WAITE MARCAINE 0.5% with Epinephrine 1:200,000 (As Bitartrate) Injection (Bupivacaine and Epinephrine injection, USP) Provides profound operative anesthesia for up to six hours, and prolonged soft-tissue pain control for up to seven hours. Its unique, extended anesthetic action reduces the need for postoperative analgesics. Onset of the anesthesia takes only two to ten minutes. Indications for Usage MARCAINE is indicated for the production of local anesthesia for dental procedures by infiltration injection or nerve block in adults. Only accepted procedures for these techniques—as described in standard textbooks—are recommended.
